1st time reveal the real face in this blog, just guess which is me, don’t get it wrong ok? lol

Hi all, again,  i am sorry i did not updating here frequently but this time is not due to laziness but i was quite busy. Busy with final year project, viva, editing thesis,  then handed in the thesis, then everyone was screaming the freedom have finally fallen down from sky. adam’s friends are happy but he is not really feel so.  he thought this graduation is an ending, but it is just a starting…. he starts to ponder every single small possibility that could happen next, to further or to work. adam was once with crazy thought, he wants to pursue another degree in Culinology, this course really sounds good but after so much of considerations, this is not practical he thinks. he now have a decision, don’t worry… today i am not going to share with you recipe from adam’s recipe… ( i must be sometime be a little bit emo one)

the following article was published in adam’s class yearbook, i just share it here as a memorial. any coincident happen was real, as if you were one of the names mentioned below and you are adam’s classmate in food technology course from year 2009 to 2013. thanks.

 

第一年,以为4年太长,想到其他人3年会毕业,自己要熬4年,想想好惨。

第一年第一天在DK W course orientation, Dr Liong 在前面作开始。我迟到 (因为我找不到地方),才进去,有人指引我Foodtech 在中间排,匆忙就过去,桌上有一个个的袋子, PPSL 讲,“坐有袋子的地方。”哇~ 一个字“乱” 我直接随便坐下来听。OK,2分钟后我比较冷静了。我前面是玲玲,我很记得,他转头跟我笑(可能那时我的表情很奇怪)。比较冷静但其实心情没有很平静的我开始瞄一下班上有些什么人,前瞄后瞄,都是女的。最后一排坐了班上的另外2个男的。这样而已。我还以为有人也会像我一样迟到,结果没有,我好像是最后一个。 然后, 翻一下“神奇的袋子”里面,有一本看不懂的 buku panduan, 一张像天书密码的时间表,老师在前面做更正“这个XXX123 改这里,那个YYY456。。。”脑袋一直没有完全平静的我还是很乱! 算了,我很乱。。。

现在想想,人家3年,我4年,其实没有很惨。

第二年,活动没有人家多,可是压力一样大,有时开心,有时不开心。

第二年,没有那么乱了,天书密码看多2张,可以轻易看得懂了。Buku panduan 也是大概知道做什么的了。记得班上很多人都参加很多社团,活动。我还算是个闲人,只是我的太极有时练太多,上课要睡觉,上什么 instrument, KAT, ZCA, 很多时候我是人去心没有去。对班上的人没有很了解,印象中这个时候我比较有跟秀珠讲话,我记得他说我参加太极后看起来人比较开朗。好了,以前我很“阴沉”,我知道。。。

现在想想,有时不开心也要开心,开心有时也会突然变不开心。。。

第三年,延续第二年“太过精彩”的活动,我其实蛮疏远班上的同学。

第三年第一学期,大家一团乱在那里找intern, 我一早可以决定在什么地方intern要感谢钰璇好lobang,至少我比较顺利。由于我太极班“内部活动”太过频密,我记得我真的是每次都推掉班上同学邀约。我知道我看起来很“吊geh” 可是有时我太“qi kek”, 班上的你们还是觉得我在那个班外的“太极班” 过的“好开心”,所以我吊很高。。。

现在想想,“精彩的课外活动”之余,班上的同学有些其实很好相处。。。

第四年,抽签好像抽生死,实验大过天。

第四年,第一第二学期,没有什么好讲的啦,你们都作lab作到有天没有地,我只是比较“幸运”可以很快搞定。是啦,我太厉害“无视”我老板的要求。。。

现在想想,很快搞定,也不一定就是你们想的那么爽。。。

Foodtech的确是我的第一选项,研究食物看起来不错,可是把它们煮出来好像比较好玩!不知道什么时候开始我的adam’s recipe 在班上有一点点点点“名气”,我不知道我有多本事,现在我还拿不定主意是读书好,做工好,还是很乱啦。。。 不过自从我看到你们一群女生真的很喜欢“穿美美,吃饱饱”之后,我希望如果我真的可以得到比做FYP一百倍的幸运值,应该可以在5年或10年里邀请你们来我真正的 adam’s recipe 作同学会,补偿之前我有意无意推掉的谁谁谁的邀约。。。LOL!

Today, is 15th May 2013, adam just had his test in the afternoon, it was about food safety, he was asked to list many factors, points or whatsoever consideration in the test paper. No so tough i guess, hope adam will get good marks.

No recipe going to be introduced today ( i know it have been long time i have no update this blog again)

Why i so motivated today to update here? Because today adam’s course-mate was talking to him about this blog! That particular course-mate can even depict what i was written here~  adam was actually quite shocked and happy, somebody have read this blog anyhow…

adam says thanks to everyone who support this blog also, actually the number of view increases from year to year, so i was quite satisfying. And one suggestion from her is i should include address in the post which i intro good food next time, okay, i got it and i will definitely slowly update them…

today after adam’s test in the school, he saw this black stuff in his fridge, this looks so interesting and so he took the photo, now i posted here to let everyone has a guess, what is this actually? haha….

p/s : tomorrow is 16th May 2013, it is teacher’s day and at the same time is my beloved arowana death anniversary for the 5th year… so sad… T.T i will always miss him and wish he had become a better life form now.

今天没有介绍食谱,不过呢,今天竟然在等待考试的时候,同学竟然跟我说起我的blog, 还可以背出年十五时写的那篇的大概的意思~真好玩! 殊不知还真的有人读我写的部落格, 哈哈。。满开心的。 其实这3年来阅读人数都有增加,真的是谢谢大家。只是希望可以更好~ 还有同学建议我下次介绍美食的时候要记得附上地址,恩~我会注意的。一定慢慢加上去~ (之前人家建议双语,我也有采纳阿)~

没有什么食谱介绍,我今天考式回来时看见冰箱里有这个黑黑的东西,拍上来让大家猜一下是什么? 有人猜是龟苓膏,桂花糕,都不是啦,看好好~ 哈哈~ 大家猜猜看阿~附带一提, 明天就是教师节5月16日,也是我的爱龙奔天忌日,5年了,我会时时记得你,或许你已经不是一条鱼了,希望你过得更好~

today is the last day of the chinese new year already~~ this day is also lunar calender valentine’s day~ single girls will “throw the mandarin orange” and the boys will being “smash” LOL, just kidding. i think adam will not going to pick up any mandarin orange… hmmm

today i introduce you guys this Chee cheong fan ~ this is common food too but i specially likes this stall one.

the sauce is so special, it comes in sweet taste with unique flavor. i likes the packed texture chee cheong fan too… the rice flour pieces is well rolled and it is firm and springy!

the price is reasonable too rm2.2 for 2 pieces ( increased price after cny, last time was only rm2) T.T you guys can pay a visit there and have a try, but be prepare to queue a little while…

 

今天十五了,元宵节,大家抛柑去了,我不准备去被抛了,在家里无聊吧~

今天给你介绍下这“软软猪肠粉”  招牌就是软软。哈哈,虽然猪肠粉很普通,可是我很喜欢这挡哦,他的酱料特别,甜甜的口味里有特别的味道。肠粉的口感也很好,扎实弹牙又很滑~~

价钱方面还算合理,rm2.2 两条,只是还没过年前才两块钱哦,起价了!

大家有空可以去试试,只是要有排队的心理准备。。。不然就,看见他们的外劳员工在捧给其他人的时候,跟他点就不用排队哦~ 不过还是要等啦,有时那个头发卷卷的外劳人挺好的~ 哈哈~

hi, this is the 2nd post over the year 2013, the chinese new year is coming soon, have u prepared for it?

most friends are going to put on new cloths and new hair style for this coming Snake year. adam seems like not going to do anything special about this new year, now he is having his semester break which is really a good time to relax and do nothing… LOL

so… since it is so boring, i’m going to share with you this recipe- papaya milk chicken soup.

Papaya milk is a kind of beverage usually been consumed, and some make it into dessert type food that believe to have an effect on enhancing the body figure of a girl.. haha.. we do care on what girls need. LOL

but, it is true that the protein of the milk and the fiber, mineral and vitamin of the papaya do benefit your body. Say no more, lets look at how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • chicken tight ( whole leg) 1 or 2 – depends on serving
  • milk ( i choose HL fresh milk) 300ml
  • papaya, cut, around 1 bowl
  • onion
  • salt

Lets go

  1. cook the cut chicken with onion until 80% cooked.
  2. add in papaya and milk together, simmer to low fire until the chicken is fully cooked.
  3. add in salt that up to your taste, and it is ready to be served.

it is very easy simple recipe, the papaya after cooked is sweet and soft with nice flavor, chicken become much tender and tastier after absorbing the milk. Don’t wait and have a try!

新年快到了哦,大家准备得怎么样了?我看朋友们都忙着买衣服,弄头发,忙个没完,我却什么也没有做, 静静享受难得的假期。

今天给你们介绍的是木瓜牛奶鸡汤。 木瓜牛奶一向来是甜品, 今天我做成汤品,也很特别。木瓜牛奶的组合一直被人们相信有丰胸养颜的功效哦。我不能确定可是牛奶的蛋白质, 木瓜的纤维,维他命等的确可以给你身体带来好处吧? 不然大家试试看就知道了哦?哈哈

材料~

  • 鸡腿整1或2个
  • 牛奶300毫升,我用的是HL
  • 木瓜,切块大约1碗
  • 洋葱

做法:

  1. 把鸡肉切好加水与洋葱煮到8成熟。
  2. 加入牛奶和木瓜,小火煮熟鸡肉。
  3. 再放入适量盐调味即可。

非常简单容易,味道却很好,木瓜煮好后香甜不必说,鸡肉也吸收了牛奶的味道而更加滑嫩,大家试试看哦!


potato rice

This is the very 1st post for adam in 2013 after he another dragging… this year is his final year in the university and so he is running with his final year project… life is not easy… the world did not end on 21/12/2012, life still goes on. but  This is Great!  adam can still cook and make more recipe! LOL

today… i gonna intro you about this potato rice~ this is not 1st time i sharing rice recipe, you can refer yam rice recipe.

the method of making potato rice is quite similar with yam rice recipe and it is also easy…

ingredients:

  • potato 2 pcs or more, depending on size
  • mix vege (carrot, peas and corn)
  • garlic few clove
  • salt
  • 5-spice-powder, 1/3 tsp
  • rice 2-2.5cups

lets go,

  1. rinse your rice and keep them in the rice cooker.
  2. then, fry the cube potato until brownish gold colour with oil. (5 tbsp approx for the portion given)
  3. after the potato is done, take it out and keep aside.
  4. now, fry the garlic until fragrance, and add in some mix vege and also spice powder.
  5. then, put the fried potato and garlic into the rice cooker. (the oil you can choose to throw it or add into the rice)
  6. add in salt and water accordingly,mix them and  turn on the cooker and wait for it to be served.

potato is preferably fried for longer time until it is really fragrance and cooked, so that it remain intact as a whole after cook. you can also add some topping like spring onion, fried shallots as you like. give it a try and enjoy~

 

拖拖拉拉来到的2013 年,世界末日没有如期来临,日子继续过,我的大学最后一年继续过,考试继续考,fyp继续受折磨,煮饭继续煮!哈哈

今天给你介绍这道简单的马铃薯焖饭,这个嘛,做法接近芋头饭的做法。。。大家可以参考一下。

材料:

  • 马铃薯 2个,视大小而定
  • 杂豆
  • 蒜头,几瓣
  • 五香粉,1/3 茶匙
  • 米,2-2.5杯

做法:

  1. 把米洗好,放在饭锅里先。
  2. 烧开大约5汤匙的油把马铃薯炸/炒到金黄色。
  3. 取出好的马铃薯, 加进蒜头爆香,杂豆,还有五香粉炒一下。
  4. 把所有材料加进饭锅,油的分量可以拿捏,不要太油的话就不要都放进去就是了。
  5. 加入适量水和盐,打开电源,等待饭煮好就可以了。

这个做法不会困难,重点是把马铃薯炸透,不然的话煮好了就会散掉了哦。 大家试试看,记得与我分享你的经验。
